I made a bet. I know, I know, I shouldn’t bet… But this one’s different:
Someone very nice I met on Facebook is currently participating in a contest that could win her a job with Bacardi (yes, the rum producers). Now, this job would pay her quite handsomely and she told me one day: “If I would win, I could afford a car and visit you!”
I was encouraged and said: “Well, in that case, I probably should help you.”
So, now here we are and I can win a date with a fantastic young lady if I can help her win this contest. And those of you who know me also know that I sometimes make quite weird decisions and act on impulse. That impulse led me to run an advertisement on Facebook, costing me almost 100$. Even though I have a fairly nice job, that certainly isn’t something I would want to afford every day.
